The long-awaited “Oddworld Soulstorm” is arriving at last on April 6th and will be free on PS5 for Playstation Plus members.
About the Game:
In Oddworld Soulstorm, you will see the return of iconic alien hero "Abe" and his horrifying conflict with a terrifying new machination.
This title is a fully fresh narrative take on the classic "Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus" with big visual and cinematic moments that aim to break new ground for the Oddworld series.
In this "2.5D" side-scrolling adventure platform game Abe's goal is to save his fellow Mudokons from slave labour.
The first game in the series was Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and featured on the PlayStation 1 in 1997 but also featured on PC.
Abe's Oddysee received two direct sequels. Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus which was released for PlayStation in November 1998, taking place directly after Oddysee.
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee was released for Xbox in 2001, which was more 3D based environments.
